Twitter announces Twitter Periscope Drone Video Broadcast Live

Twitter the social networking, news, and information website announced today May 9 2016 that you will soon be able to live broadcast Drone Video using the Twitter Periscope platform. In the announcement Twitter Periscope mentions only the Birds eye view. Hopefully you will be able to live stream the First Person View FPV also.
First to be released is the application for the Apple’s iOS operating system, but I am assuming that the Android version will come soon after. I certainly hope so.
There is no mention of the exact release date for the ios application. All the tweet says is soon.
