JJRC Eachine H8 Mini Quadcopter Modifications

The JJRC and Eachine Mini Quadcopters are virtually the same. They are both fast and agile quads and can be a hand full for the beginner drone pilot. But at their price point it is still not a catastrophe if you crash or break either of them.
Here are what I think are three of the best and yet easy modifications you can do to these quadcopters making your flying a more enjoyable experience.

JJRC Eachime H8 Mini Quadcopter Light Modification

We have the front orientation light modification with an added window for much better drone head identification.
There are actually two red led lights right on the front of the PCB that are lit but with the black version of the quad you can’t see them. With the white version of the quad the whole front end glows with the red light from these leds.

JJRC Eachime H8 Mini Quadcopter Antenna Modification

By exposing the two antennas one in the quad and the other in the controller you can add some extra flying range to the drone.
Which is always a good thing.

JJRC Eachime H8 Mini Quadcopter Controller Lever Push Pin Modification

Some people prefer longer control knobs than the ones that come with the JJRC Eachine H8 Mini Quadcopter.
There is a simple mod to try to see if you like longer controller levers using standard push pins.
What is nice about this mod is you can change it back if you don’t like it with no damage to the controller.
The video below shows how to do these modifications to the JJRC Eachine H8 Mini Quadcopters.

So there you have it. What I think are the three best bang for your buck JJRC Eachine H8 Mini Quadcopter Modifications.
It’s not that these two quads aren’t a lot of fun to fly already, they are. These three mods just make it even easier to fly and therefore a better flying experience especially for the beginning drone pilot.
I hope you found these three JJRC Eachine H8 Mini Quadcopter Modifications useful and thanks for stopping by.
Go fly a drone!
