Fat Shark is going digital with their new BASE HD FPV Digital goggles

Today most FPV drone racing is done using analog spectrum. This analog spectrum is scarce.
It is not unheard of for events to be delayed waiting for spectrum to free up.
And just like an old radio, that dreaded interference.
Fat Shark the king of FPV drone racing analog goggles is tossing a chip into the digital world.
They have announce their Fat Shark BASE HD FPV Digital Goggles an all digital solution.

What we could find on these new digital FPV goggles at the time of this writing was this description and specifications.
Fat Shark’s BASE HD brings a groundbreaking, digital-only, projection-based display technology to the FPV world for crystal-clear, digital racing. With a 16:9 aspect ratio, 28 degree field of view and 1280 x 720 resolution, the BASE HD uses Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCoS) display technology with ultra-high pixel fill to project an image unlike anything currently designed for FPV. LCoS technology also creates brighter display inside of the BASE HD, creating a more realistic image compared to a traditional FPV screen.
Fat Shark’s BASE HD is an all digital system and uses an HDMI Type A connection from any digital source.
Works with DJI radio, Connex (ProSight) or any other digital system.
Expect these new Fat Shark BASE HD FPV Digital Goggles to ship this fall.
